What does AI do in Logixi?
Logixi’s AI assistant answers questions in everyday words using live data from your orders, jobs, stock and customers, helps people find how to do things, and can suggest everyday changes that only happen when a person confirms them. You choose whether Claude or OpenAI answers.
AI assistant for help and insights
- Ask how to do something, or ask about your operation: “How many orders are pending?”, “What jobs are running on Friday?”, “How full is Bathgate?”.
- Open it from any screen with the speech bubble, or full page for more room. It shows which parts of Logixi it looked up.
- It can suggest changes — rescheduling an order, adding a driver note, updating a contact — shown as a before-and-after card.
- Nothing changes until a person with the confirm permission presses Confirm. Suggestions expire after 15 minutes.
Report Builder
- List orders, accounts, jobs, invoices, credit limits or stock movements, and tick the columns you need.
- Use the aggregate builder to join related data, group by customer or vehicle, and COUNT or SUM.
- Filter, sort and export to CSV. Saved reports are shared and always run on the latest data.
- Alongside ready-made reports: Net Income By Vehicle, Asset Utilisation, Load and Tonne Count, Debtors, Waste Returns and more.
Customisable dashboards
- Dashboards tailored to each user and role — a planner, warehouse manager and accounts clerk each see what matters to them.
- Home dashboard tiles and charts: orders by status, jobs per day, fleet status and open vehicle defects, for any date range.
- Warehouse dashboard: total stock, stock at cost, locations in use and occupancy by warehouse.
- Roles decide which menus each person sees, so everyone gets a focused view.

What can I ask Logixi’s AI assistant?
Ask in everyday words about stock, space, movements, orders, customers and the job schedule — for example “How many orders are pending?” or “What jobs are running on Friday?”. The assistant also helps with how-to questions, shows which parts of Logixi it checked, and remembers roughly your last ten questions for follow-ups.
Can AI change data in Logixi?
Only after a person confirms it. Ask AI reads information freely but never changes anything by itself. When it suggests a change, such as rescheduling an order, it shows the current and new values side by side, and nothing happens until someone with permission presses Confirm. Suggestions expire after 15 minutes.
Which AI models does Logixi use?
Logixi’s Ask AI lets you choose who answers — Claude or OpenAI — and both can do the same things. Administrators control access with three Ask AI permissions: ask, confirm and reject. The assistant can’t see customers’ financial details such as credit limits, payment details or balances.
How does the Logixi Report Builder work?
Choose an entity such as jobs, orders, invoices or stock movements, tick the columns you want and run the report. The aggregate builder adds joins, grouping and totals such as COUNT or SUM, with filters and sorting. Reports export to CSV and can be saved and shared with the team.
Are Logixi dashboards customisable?
Yes. Dashboards in Logixi are customisable and tailored to each user and role. The home dashboard shows tiles and charts such as orders by status, jobs per day, fleet status and open vehicle defects for any date range, and the warehouse dashboard shows stock at cost and occupancy by warehouse.
